Social Responsibility

Terra Venture Partners views community involvement as an essential part of its values and is associated with various charitable activities.
Terra approaches community involvement with the same hands-on enthusiasm that it dedicates to its investment portfolio. We are privileged to take part in several worthy causes led by excellent people who care deeply for the greater community. Our financial contributions to each are further supported by the personal involvement of our entire team. Terra believes in the importance of providing education for Israel's youth, and therefore has been a strong promoter of several education initiatives, that strive to create equal opportunities among Israel's youth.

Tmura

www.tmura.org

The Israeli Public Service Venture Fund is a non-profit organization, established by leading Israeli venture capital funds to involve the high-tech sector in supporting charitable activities. The model is simple: early-stage companies give Tmura a warrant, convertible (at exit) into a small portion of their equity. If the company succeeds, Tmura sells its shares and donates the proceeds to charities in Israel; the focus is on education and youth-related activities, and the companies can indicate which organizations they want to support.

Terra, as well as several other leading venture capital funds, support Tmura's activities and encourage portfolio companies to make an equity donation to Tmura.

Machshava Tova

Machshava Tova is a non-profit organization, established in 2003, which aims to narrow social gaps in Israel by providing technological education to underprivileged groups, and thus minimizing the digital divide between then and the rest of the population. Since its inception, Machshava Tova has served more than 17,000 individuals, enabling them to advance themselves both socially and economically.

Machshava Tova's Eco-Tech program trains youth-at-risk as computer technicians who refurbish old computers and donate them to the needy. The program allows youth to acquire professional skills, hands-on experience and professional training. The environment benefits from the program as well. Waste material which would have ended up polluting the environment is refurbished and reused, promoting a sustainable approach which will benefit us all.
